Larry & The Losers
Broke Down Rodeo is a band from Frisco, CO that plays a variety of covers and original music.
Broke Down Rodeo began as a group of ski patrollers from Copper Mountain, CO that got together to make music after a day on the slopes. The band was formerly known as The Perseverators. The name comes from 'perseverate,' the medical term for repeating the same thing over and over after hitting your head. This seemed a fitting nod to the band members' day jobs as ski patrollers and the relatively small catalog of songs the group tended to play over and over and over again. The band then became Larry and the Losers before reforming under the name Broke Down Rodeo.
Today, the band brings a much expanded and ever growing repertoire of cover songs to their live shows with a handful of original songs from Anna Welcher and Larry Lacerte. The lineup consists of: Matt Lovas (guitar), Nick Slaton (drums), Bill Ryan (bass), John Burk (banjo/dobro/mandolin), Anna Welcher (lead vocals/guitar/keys), and Larry Lacerte (guitar).
